Cashmere and silk classics from Lilysilk

I have two gorgeous outfits to share with you. Cashmere and silk are both feel-good factor materials that I will never tire of, especially silk, the material that’s good for all seasons. The cashmere and silk items are from Lilysilk, a brand that I’ve partnered with for many years now and a brand that I’ve enjoyed watching grow from a small brand to a household name.

Let’s start with this gorgeous silk Louisville Print Shirt Dress. I love a classic shirt dress and the print stood out for me. I love the dark chocolate background with the red ribbon pattern and would you call it mustard or tan?

This dress is made from Mulberry silk, a little stiffer than the last silk Lilysilk dress that I shared here on the blog. A typical self-tie belt, buttoned top to bottom, this dress can go from day to night instantly by just switching the daytime accessories to evening ones. A glitzy evening bag and heels and you’re good to go.

In the colder months, I always wear a full slip under my silk dresses, it makes a huge difference to how warm the two paired together can be. Both cashmere and silk are heat-regulating materials, and a slip stops any static with tights that you could be wearing. Take note of the obligatory pockets!

I’m not going to lie, it was pretty cold taking these shots! I was so pleased I hadn’t left my coat in the car. My trusty cashmere blend camel coat from last year, which I couldn’t wait to add back into my wardrobe. It was an investment piece but I’m certainly getting cost per wear. Slipping into cashmere cosiness

Here’s a great country chic style that I like to wear most days. The Cashmere jumper feels so luxurious It’s a very fine knit and not bulky but so warm at the same time.

I like the cable pattern that is far more subtle than most cable-design jumpers. My favourite winter neutral colour palette too, this jumper is also available in a winter white as well. I’m tempted to get another!

I’ve paired the cashmere jumper with some soft cord jeans from Marks And Spencer. I have been living in them due to how comfortable and cosy they are. I just let the neck of the jumper do its own thing! It’s quite a high-roll neck and I didn’t like it folded over or tucked inside. How do you wear yours?

I also kept the accessories pretty neutral too. My Baukjen belt, Tan boots from Vionic UK ( Super Comfortable) and the Coach Jamie bag.
