It seems like forever since I gave an update on what skincare and makeup I have to report on/recommend. I decided to call this post, Dressing table diaries so that I can talk about a bit of everything. Makeup and skincare.
I’m not going to fit into this post all that I want to share, so hence the title diaries. I’m promising to create these posts on a more regular basis. I have a couple of good offers that are long-term for you as well, so you can always come back to this post for the code.
After having the pleasure of working alongside this iconic brand that is Bio-Oil I quickly realised that their products were what I needed in my skincare routine.
On my visit to Whittlebury spa, park and hotel I had a full body massage while I was there. The masseuse told me after that I had one of the driest skins she had ever come across. I knew I had to do something about it ( I’m very guilty of taking extra care of the face and not the body) I didn’t want to buy anything that was too expensive. The prices of some body creams are astronomical and I needed a lot of the stuff!

As much as I love the Bio-Oil Natural Skincare Oil, it was the Lotion that I stuck with. Both products are very reasonably priced and the lotion is less scented.
I apply after a shower and you can get dressed literally straight away. It just sinks straight into my skin. I was amazed at how both of these products did that. I prefer the lotion because it doesn’t have any scent, and I prefer not to mix my perfumes with other smells.

I discovered one of the best foundations ever! It’s by a brand called Mii Cosmetics. I was asked if I would like to try and share my thoughts on the brand.
If you’ve ever tried the Dior Forever Skin Glow foundation, I can say that the Velvet Radiance Face Base is very much the same as that. Half the price of the Dior, it stays in place and is really hydrating. I’m now on my third bottle!

After trying the L’Ocitane samples at a hotel stay, and falling in love with the products I decided to treat myself to the shampoo and conditioner. I’ve just come to the end of the shampoo and must treat myself to a refill. I love the fresh lemony scent and my hair seems to love this duo.

A heavenly scent on my dressing table
I had the pleasure of working alongside Eden Perfume I wanted to give you a heads up on this brand because they create the best dupe fragrances. All the top names in the perfume industry can be found on Eden’s website.
You might even find a dupe of your discontinued designer perfume on Eden’s website. It really is worth looking into and very budget-friendly.
Eden is not just about dupe perfumes though. They create their own and also have stores in Portobello Road London, and Brighton where you can even go and create your own bespoke scent. I’m waiting to visit myself!
My favourite is the White Musk Absolute. It’s a really calm gentle scent. perfect to wear throughout the day.
