Loungewear by Nap. Not just for indoors!

Hi All. The weather has certainly turned now, hasn’t it? Time to get those cosies out for a while. I do think we’ve been pretty lucky so far weather-wise though. I’ve been sent some gorgeous new loungewear by the brand Nap to share with you but it’s way too good to be worn only indoors. Cashmere and silks. All the cosiness that we need right now to give a little feel-good factor.

The silk duo that I’m wearing above is an absolute dream to wear. There’s nothing better than wearing silk in the evenings or in the mornings to start the day. Ok, I wouldn’t wear these pyjamas out but the cashmere cardigan I will as you will see further down.

I love the deep hem on the trousers, they feel so special, very lady of the manor! Beau posing politely. She will do anything to be given that ball back! And take one last look at the bedroom. ( you can read all about the bedroom renovation here) As you may have read before I’ve never loved how this room turned out and there will be changes in the new year. I can’t wait.

I love to wear slinky pyjama trousers with a cotton vest top in the summer. The trousers are made from 100% raw silk.

The Nap brand was launched in 2020 just as the pandemic was about to hit. A very unlucky move or not? Sales of all loungewear went right up, didn’t it? There are very good reviews on the Nap website and from what I’ve received I can see why.

I’ve since washed the trousers on a 30-degree wash in the machine and they have been fine. I thought I’d add that. Who wants to dry clean Pyjamas?

Loungewear not just for indoors

The cream maxi lounge dress (or my wee willy winkie dress as Dee calls it!) will be perfect in the summer. As good if not better than a Kaftan, this will help keep the gnats at bay in the garden during the evening too. I love the gathering detail and the deep cuffs on the sleeves. You can waft around the house ( think Margaux from the good life!) in this being super comfortable and presentable, but I thought it was just too lovely to keep just for indoors.

I’ve paired the dress here with the cashmere cardigan. I wish you could feel how soft it is. There’s no collar but it hugs nicely around the neck. There’s no fastening but it looks great with a belt. I will be pairing this cardigan with a lot of the neutral items that I’ve collected the past few years.

Shown here with just the belt. It will be great in the summer with sandals. And yes, I was freezing! I paired the outfit with my Tan slouchy bag, snakeskin belt and taupe suede boots for texture and shade. This is how I find my neutral wardrobe works. I just keep collecting accessories of different neutral shades and textures and it all pairs together so easily.

The most expensive item in this post but trust me, it really is a beautiful piece of clothing. Nap also has a 30% off discount for Black Friday. I have my eye on a gorgeous wool camel coat. Nap do sell other clothing, not just loungewear and there are some really beautiful pieces on the website.

I haven’t washed the cardigan yet, and fingers crossed I can report back with good news when I do. I have my cashmere wash at the ready. It does say that hand washing is ok.

The Heverly Ann Twinset

A very casual look for me but this twinset with the hooded top is just gorgeous. I like all the detailing on the trousers. It doesn’t look it but the knitwear is very heavy and I think that’s why the trousers hang so well.

A wide drawstring waistband, deep pockets and seams down the front of the trousers give a slightly smarter appearance I think. I also love the oatmeal colour.

This is the first hooded jumper to enter my wardrobe for some time. I was warm enough wearing this out without a jacket taking these photos. The suit is made from 70% pure wool, 20% acrylic and 10% polyester. A plain top but with detail. Side splits and seam details at the bottom.

This twinset works out roughly to £72.00 and I think that’s a good price for what you get. Shipping was swift ( I was wary with it coming from China) Reviews are very good on the Nap website and I’m really pleased with my pieces so I will be leaving a good one on there too. Nap has some really lovely gifting ideas too. So do take a look. Cashmere socks are all I need now!
