I’m sharing a lovely casual, comfortable outfit with you today. I’ve long been a fan of anything Savannah Miller designs and this outfit is very purse-friendly
The collection that Savanna Miller has created for Next is her typical boho style that she’s famous for. My daughter was a huge fan of the collections Savanna created for Debenhams, I still have some loungewear items that I love. Next has some amazing brands under their belt nowadays. You might like my last post styling three outfits from the brand.
The Lace Insert boho top is so comfortable to wear. I tend to mainly tuck tops into my bottoms because I’m fairly petite. But I wanted to share the raw edge on this one.
I’m in a field of cows! and super friendly they were too. We’ve come to visit a friend in Wolverton Milton Keynes. It’s a really picturesque town, with beautiful countryside. and I feel very lucky weather-wise. It’s very hit and miss at the moment, either muggy and dull or raining cats and dogs.
The pathway leads to the local shops and the cows like to come and say hello. You have to dodge any cow dung en route though!
Savannah Miller gets it just right
I loved the top as soon as I spotted it on the Next Online website. I did wonder if it would be too blousy for my frame and make me look top-heavy, but it’s fine.
It has beautiful detailing, I like the lace run down the sleeve. The cuffs and the neckline. It was perfect to wear on the day. Not clingy at all. It’s going to serve me well. I can mix this with white jeans, navy trousers or either colour shorts.
I’ve kept all the accessories simple and natural. Perfect pairing for this casual boho style. My summer uniform of Espadrilles, mine are sold out but I found some bargain alternatives that are in the Shop The Look below. and the rattan navy bag.
I wanted to share the raw edge of the jeans. Classed as skinny but I would call them straight in design. I noticed online that the jeans are available in many leg lengths too. From petite to extra tall. I’m wearing regular length. They are supposed to be cropped but I don’t like a cropped fit on me. It makes my legs look even shorter! The regular length is just right.
I wouldn’t class the jeans as high waisted, nor mid-rise. Somewhere in between which is perfect for me. I’ve had problems searching for jeans of late. I find a lot of the high waisted jeans don’t suit me at all and because they’re so on-trend it’s hard to find alternatives.
These savannah Miller ones are good. The denim is very soft and I feel that the slightly higher waist does elongate my legs a little, but the waistline doesn’t fit anywhere near just under the boob line like a lot of high-waisted jeans do!
And before I finish up this post I wanted to share with you the new gorgeous earrings that I received from Ottoman Hands. They pair perfectly to finish off that boho look. I love that they are different lengths and coloured beads. A new to me brand that I wanted to share with you. They have some stunning necklaces too. I will be sharing my choice with you soon.
