I’ve always rated Next clothing. Good value along with quality, I’ve purchased items from Next and they’ve lasted years in my wardrobe. I was asked to choose three items of choice to share with you, and I can tell you it was hard!
Have you looked at the Next website recently? There are so many other brands featured on the website, you can be there for some time. Spoilt for choice.
My first item of choice was so easy. I love the ditsy print and colours throughout this dress, A really simple design, round neck, lightweight slightly puffed sleeves and elasticated waist. The belt also comes with the dress. It’s a really easy comfortable to wear dress. Plus there’s no creasing with the material!
The weather not playing ball, I wore black knee-high boots instead of the sandals I can’t wait to wear. Add black tights and a heavier jacket, maybe a black biker, this dress could certainly pass to wear during the colder months.
On the bonus side, I did get to give the new handbag an outing. My Christmas present this year and I think this is its only second outing due to lockdown. I’m enjoying the Mark Jacobs Snapshot bag at last!

I think you can get overwhelmed by too much choice on a website. I know I do. I find adding items that catch my eye to the shopping basket helps. Then I go back and think a little deeper about those items and make my shopping decision that way.
The trousers didn’t take much of that thinking. I loved them as soon as I saw them and haven’t been disappointed. The tailoring/cut of them is perfect. I’ve wanted some smart linen mix trousers for some time.
I like the disc detail at the waist of the trousers for a little more interest and I wanted to mention my new bracelets here. Two pearl and chain bracelets paired together. I’ve had a few accessories from The Jewellery Channel and I’m so pleased with them. And a good excuse to share the finer details of the trousers. I love them.
I also wanted to add that you can see all of these outfits in motion over on my Instagram Reels or IGTV I think it’s nicer to see outfits in more detail, how they move etc.
The Fiorelli watch is another item from The Jewellery Channel. £16.00! I thought the neutral/taupe strap and gold face would work well with my wardrobe. Do you wear a watch? I just don’t feel dressed without one.
The Luisa Tencel Blouse that I’ve paired with the next trousers are from Baukjen. You can never have enough white blouses/shirts, can you? Excellent quality as always from the brand.

Gotta love an animal print dress!
My third choice was this animal print dress. Reserved for the better weather! Its lightweight material and ruched waist make this a perfect dress for the warmer weather.
The colour tones are what struck my eyes at first. I love a slight puff sleeve but I’m finding dress shopping hard at the moment with dresses that have overwhelming detailing fit for a young milkmaid filling the shops and online.
I’ve chosen Tan accessories to go with the dress. I was also gifted a pair of sandals and a gorgeous bag from the Next PR team. You can see them in the Reels over on Instagram that I mentioned. I’m hoping to feature them here soon.
The Tote bag is old and the only oversized bag that I have. I need to remedy that this year if I’m going to travel to London. I’ve had my first meeting with a brand last week and it was such a lovely day. I will be telling all soon! A bigger bag is definitely needed
Who’d have thought we’d still need boots at the end of May? I bought the Chloe boots from a store called Pair My Sole on eBay. Vastly reduced due to a tiny scuff on the heel. I couldn’t believe my luck when I found them. Instead of £500, I paid £54! A website well worth looking at.

Wow, really great pieces, Laurie! My favorite is definitely that first dress. I love that style and the colors and print are so pretty! I shop online in the same way as you because I get overwhelmed with choices. I start by adding to my cart anything and everything that catches my eye. Then I slowly narrow it down it a few irresistible pieces!

I love their Label Mix collection, where they feature up and coming designers and at good prices. The quality is brilliant.

How can I possibly choose a favourite?! I love them all lol! But, if I must, then it would have to be the first dress, purely because the colours are more me. I also love linen trousers for the summer, especially for over here in Portugal when it’s really warm and I’m not in the mood for shorts.
