I don’t often review brands from America but I was invited to try some items from Belelily and there were quite a few items that caught my eye. The postage was swift and I’m happy with what I received.
This is the first knitwear to be added to the wardrobe this year. I’ve already started thing about doing the seasonal changeover, have you? I guarantee that as soon as I do that changeover we will get an Indian summer!
Our weather is like a yoyo at the moment. It’s neither hot nor cold and it’s difficult to choose what to wear. Layering is the key I think. A T-shirt or blouse but a lightweight jacket/blazer added if you’re out and about.
It’s rare for me to wear loose-fitting clothing because of my small frame but I love this oversized look. It’s very comfortable too. I chose this Colour-block lightweight knit mainly for the colours, all the regular ones that I wear, so this will mix and match with a lot in my wardrobe.
As the temperature drops, I will add a long-sleeved T-shirt underneath. I did intend to pair the jumper with white jeans but after having a try on, I like how it worked with these Gail Jeans. You may remember their debut just as lockdown started? They haven’t featured anywhere near enough yet and will look great with cosy jumpers later in the year.
I’m always dubious about ordering from American brands. Quality and the amount of time waiting for delivery. My delivery time was 7 days, so I’m not complaining at all about that. It’s very quick, even quicker than some items I’ve waited for within the UK!
The quality is of the jumper is good and I’m very happy with it. Belelily has an enormous following on social platforms and this is what swayed me to give the brand a try.
I’ve kept accessories simple. The Chloe dupe, the Gianni bag works with anything and I’m determined to get more wear out of my Espadrilles before all the wet weather arrives. They are now on sale at a good price and I’ve added them to the “shop the look” below. All sizes are available.
I’m still enjoying my country walks. We started doing these walks during our first escape after lock-down and realised how much we enjoyed it. Good simple exercise and time to reflect. I’m just about to join the local gym too. I haven’t stepped foot in a gym for years!
I need to kit myself out with some new Gym wear and these Belelily leggings have caught my eye. A good price too. Actually I’m leaving some of my favourite choices that are available from Belelily below. I really like the chunky knitwear.

Am loving the espadrilles, fab colour and go so well with the outfit. I don’t own many winter clothes, my Dubai winter wardrobe is only suitable for summer in the UK, but as I’m travelling back out there in November for the winter, I’ve got another year before I need to start thinking about winter wear. This slouchy, casual style is a good look on you, Laurie! You’re petite enough that a slouchy sweater doesn’t add any pounds like it would do to me. I like the colors too. Really attractive outfit!

This look is perfect on you and I love the sweater and the shoes. So pretty! We are just beginning the descent of our temperatures, but I know there will still be warm days ahead. Our weather’s been like a yo-yo too, but with some hot days forecasted next week, I won’t be thinking of my seasonal changeover just yet. I usually only do that in October anyway, as I always have a couple of off-season items ready for when it gets chilly. Your new colour block jumper looks lovely, although I’m not a big fan of oversized jumpers myself. It does look great with the cropped trousers and espadrille sandals, though! xxx
