Have you noticed the Autumn/winter clothing seeping into the shops? the transition of seasons is most probably my favourite times of the year. March onwards and September heading into Winter This is the perfect time to wear my tailored blazers. Not cold enough for a coat but something light to wear over a top, T-shirt or sweater.
This is the very first entry into my wardrobe for AW20 The Lennox blazer. A linen mix expertly crafted by Baukjen. I still aim to wear my lighter colours heading into the winter season and this blazer is going to be my hero.
That’s the beauty of a tailored blazer. You can literally wear anything with them. Be uber smart or casual and relaxed like me today.
We’ve popped out for tea at Orsett Hall. One of my favourite places near home to take some quick photos. One minute it’s pouring with rain and the next we have blazing sun. The humidity in the air is apparent as it swells my hair to double the volume in minutes!
Accessories are simple. The Legelith bag with contrasting edging. A handy bag to wear either cross body or just use the top handle. I haven’t used this bag anywhere near enough and I think it’s the first entry here on the blog.
It will get plenty of wear through the colder months I’m sure but my main go-to bag is still that brilliant dupe that I shared is my daily go-to.
Accessories for casual or tailored style
New in at Baukjen is this double-ringed gold-plated Rosamund necklace and I love it. Very similar to my favourite Helix necklace that I have in silver. Baukjen always come up trumps with accessories and I wear my Eloise earrings often, They’ve not tarnished at all. Good quality just like their clothing.
I’m head to toe in Baukjen today, wearing the new Girlfriend jeans. I’m going more for a classic style jean now and not wearing the skinny;s so much. These are just so comfortable too!

Classy stylish blazer! I love the brief periods in spring and autumn when we can wear jackets and blazers (or long cardigans) before it gets either too hot or too cold. The necklace is lovely too. I have the Baukjen face coverings, very pleased with them (and they sent duplicates so I was able to share some with others).

I haven’t been to too many shops yet, but I did notice some exciting pieces in the shop windows! I am looking forward to wearing more neutrals. I sure have been bright and sunny this summer with my choice in colorful skirts and tops but there is something about cream, beiges, greys that I also love.
