It’s been many years since I’ve had a pair of white shoes or sandals on my feet. The rumour about Essex girls and then me, born and bred in Essex didn’t bode well!
I’ve always hated that rumour. And yes, I do have that Essex girl twang but I’m not and never have been the Essex girl everyone reads about or watches on tv!
So here I am sticking my nose up to that rumour. Do not believe the stigma tagged onto the Essex girl!
I spotted this dupe bag on a new to me brand called Bagining. The brand asked if I would like a gift to share with you and after browsing many dupes, this is the one I chose.
A pair of white sandals to match my bag (These are gorgeous, from Daniel Footwear and on sale) was required and with that I chose a blazer, trousers and cami top. True to me classic style.
I’m pleased with the bag. Good leather and the finish is really good. Coming from China the bag did take some time to come due to all that’s going on in the world but I’ve just noticed the bag can be shipped within 2-3 days on a payment of £12.00
I like the style of the bag and it’s a perfect size for me. I’m having a spell of collecting good quality dupes this year! You may have seen this post of the Chloe dupe? This bag named Intrecciato on the Baggining website comes in a rainbow of colours too.
Let’s talk about the outfit. The Elspeth blazer is just perfection for me regarding tailoring. This is it’s first outing since I picked it up on that rainy day visit to Baukjen. Now on sale at half price, I’m going to get so much wear out of it, and I think it’s going to look great with knitwear under later in the year.

You can see the quality of the tailoring closer here to the blazer. I also wanted to point out that the bag has a cool adjustable strap. All the on-trend bags seem to have this new button-through detail and I like that.
The trousers are from last years Reiss sale. Another quality brand, a little on the expensive side but if you catch the sale then worth every penny. I’ve been really pleased with these trousers. Reiss has some really good trousers on sale at the moment. Who isn’t having a sale!?
I’ve paired the trousers with a simple white cami, perfect to wear under blazers at this time of year and my Helix necklace from Claudia Bradby.
And finishing the look, the white sandals, not Essex girl in any shape or form! I’m super pleased with them. A block heel, my preferred style of heel nowadays. Just giving that little bit of height and elegance to the look.
These sandals are called the Amana sandal, also available in Tan (tempted!) I purchased the last pair of sandals from Daniel and was really pleased with them. I can spend a fair amount of time browsing the site.
That completes the look. No Essex girl here!
