Pretty embroidered top & jeans Casual style

We decided to take a trip to London for a couple of days. Mainly to see family and I thought I’d take some photos of this pretty embroidered top while I was there.

I’m lucky to have somewhere to stay when I visit. I do miss London but I have no regrets about moving away. I have the best of both worlds being able to shoot up there whenever I want to and I’m grateful for that. Hotels are so expensive!

a trip to London for a couple of days. Mainly to see family and I thought I'd take some photos of this pretty embroidered top while I was there.

This pretty embroidered top is from Together, a brand that you can find on the Kaleidoscope website. I thought it would be perfect to wear while in London. Comfortable and perfect for the weather. Neither hot nor cold but boy hasn’t it been windy? I was surprised all my garden pots survived!

First, I will explain that I forgot the battery to my camera. I’m hoping these photos taken on my phone do this pretty embroidered top justice. When I arrived home there the battery was, sitting in its charger.

I like the pretty embroidery on the top, the light puff to the sleeve. A top that can be dressed up or worn casual.

This top is going to work with jeans, white or blue, I have already worn it with my navy trousers from last weeks post. Light blue will work well too and I think this would look great with a long tiered gipsy skirt for a complete boho look as well.

This is an easy casual look, great for the weekend or off duty style. You may remember the trench coat that I featured here a while back? It’s less than half price on sale at the moment and that is worth every penny for that coat! And if you love an embroidered top and boho style this one has just gone into my shopping bag! There are some great bargains on the website.

I enjoyed time out taking these photos at one of my favourite spots right on top of Kew Bridge. The London roads are back to normal but I found the streets are still pretty quiet. This is right on top of the Thames and it was lovely to have a walk along there

I paired the embroidered top with a simple basket bag and my comfortable flats from Van-Dal shoes. I do love summer for bringing out the basket bags. You can carry so much in them, perfect for a day out.

The jeans I’ve cut down and they will fray away all by themself. I also like that the elastic on the cuff is soft so that you can ruche the sleeve up to a short sleeve. I often do that with my sleeves if I get a bit warm.

Such a pretty top, Laurie, I have similarly looking one except the embroidery is in red. It looks great with one or blue denim skirts too.
Luckily, the modern phones take pretty good pictures, no harm here, you look lovely

Ohh, I have done that… forgotten my camera’s battery! So frustrating, but thank goodness our phones take such good photos these days. I just love this light and airy top with the blue embroidery. I love whites and blues in the summer. That bracelet goes so lovely with it, too. Ahh, London is on my to see list!

Laurie, what a great shirt! I love the gauzy fabric and the beautiful embroidered details. The cobalt blue stands out brilliantly on the white background. The photos are lovely and definitely do the top justice! Thanks for sharing and linking up with me.

A beautiful summer look, Laurie! Your top is beautiful! Your remark about missing London, but not regretting your move struck a chord with me. It’s how I feel about our move from Los Angeles. But we are just 5 hours away by car – if we ever get past the pandemic. Stay safe, my friend.

Oh, tell me about it, Michelle. I moved here purely to be closer to my family. I haven’t seen them for three months because of this dreadful virus. Having said that, I’m glad I wasn’t living in London during this time xx

What a fresh, pretty look, Laurie. I love both the sweet top and the white button-fly jeans. It’s great that things are seeming more normal – it’s still all a bit surreal though, isn’t it?

Thank you for sharing and enjoy your lovely summer days!!
