Sapphires are a firm favorite
I didn’t actually know that sapphires had such a beautiful claim to its name. Remember Princess Diana’s engagement ring? That’s now worn by Kate the Duchess of Cambridge. It’s got to be one of the most famous rings ever!

I find it hard to pick a favourite gemstone because I love anything sparkly too! Ruby is my birthstone but I chose an emerald and diamond eternity ring last year. The sapphire jewellery you’ve featured is beautiful, and of course pearls are always a joy to wear.

Diamonds are a girls best friend!!! They are at the top of my list!!! Second is tied. I can’t decide between Sapphires & Pearls! See, I live in the south. We wear pearls with t shirts! So a pearl can be dressy or casual! HA!!! LOVE the jewels you posted! Jewelry makes me genuinely happy!!!
Fun post, Laurie! And such pretty choices. I have always been partial to emeralds as they are my birthstone and green is forever favorite color! But I do love pearls and sapphires as well. And rubies have always been a favorite, too. I have a ring that is set with a diamond and a ruby which are my parents’ birthstones and this is one of most prized pieces of jewelry! Diamonds really are my favourite gem, and I’ve got a few rings and a beautiful pair of earrings. Pearls I’ve become to love and have a gorgeous pair of earrings that I got from hubby for out Pearl anniversary.
