I was lucky enough to get a city hotel mini break during the week, you may have seen on my stories? It was much needed for my recovery from that dreaded flu that I can say is starting to ease off now. A nice evening meal and some time out sounded like the perfect medicine. Working alongside one of my favourite brand’s Roman originals, they have gifted me the perfect party dress and this gorgeous Teddy Bear Coat.
It was so cold on the day of going to the hotel, winter has finally arrived for sure! The coat is super soft, I kept rubbing it at first, I couldn’t resist!
I’m only wearing a cotton shirt with my jeans underneath but I’m all cosy under my teddy, (Roman call it
the Chinchilla coat) taking a walk around the south side of London. I haven’t explored the south side anywhere near as the west side close to home and this was my first quick photo shoot on the busy streets of London ( a little bit daunting!) But nowhere near as scary as the
Superdrug shoot!What I love about this coat…
- The plush texture It’s super soft!
- The colour. A lot of my wardrobe has been speckled with greys and blues this year, so this is a perfect match for those items. The coat is also available in Pink too.
- High necked to keep lovely and warm
- Hook and eye fastening from top to bottom
- Good deep pockets

The length is pretty good too, and although it’s super warm the coat isn’t overly bulky for my liking
Can you just stop there while I take my photo! Haha! Kidding. That’s what I felt like saying as the busy London street has constant passers-by!
I’ve paired the outfit with my super comfortable walking boots and a grey tote that has been used so much this year.
The occasion dress that I took to the hotel is gorgeous and pairs perfectly with the coat. The lighting in the hotel wasn’t giving it justice so I will be showcasing that next week for you.
Roman Originals is one of my first pitstops when it comes to occasion wear, and I swear by their
stretch trousers. I have them in a few colours now.
What do you think about the colour? I love the neutral colour that’s going to work hard with my wardrobe. Have you got your warm coat at the ready? The weather is certainly on the turn. Our winter seems to start later and later these days.

This Teddy bear coat is stunning. I used to have one in 6th grade and I really loved it.

I think, if I had that coat, I’d be tempted to just stay in and cuddle the thing. And nothing beats a great pair of boots – I’ve actually walked the soles off my black pair and had to have them repaired. Hold onto the good things <3

Oh what a super snuggly coat. In an unusual colour that will pair well with so much. I got a lovely parker coat for Christmas it’s a beautiful mustard one with fur.
