That special 24 hours I had a while back? I’ve been meaning to tell you about the gorgeous London hotel stay that I had. And just a few days before that, I was lucky enough to be contacted by a lingerie brand and I chose some really lovely nightwear. I saved it for my hotel stay to make the night even more special. First, let me tell you a little about the hotel stay in the city
Durrants Hotel
Durrant’s hotel is situated in the heart of London city. St Goerges st Marylebone. A large hotel with rooms ranging from single to a whole suite.
The decor of the hotel is old worldly but very beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was gorgeous. Bathroom goodies were from L’Occitane and that made me very happy! After we had spent our evening, the 50 over 50 awards at Claridges, we had a nightcap in the bar and then to bed. I slept like a baby in our hotel room. It was all very special.
Posh Pyjamas!
This is my idea of heaven! Tea brought to me in a lovely room, new Pyjamas and a magazine or two, just taking a couple of hours out to chill. Something I need to do more often! You can actually come here for afternoon tea. I might just pop back sometime. I have a huge list of London hotels on my bucket list!
The Pyjamas are from UK Lingerie these are called Tisbe Floral Buttondown Pyjamas. Made from 48%cotton 48% Viscose and 5% elastane They are super soft and feel lovely on.
You know you are wearing better than average. I chose them because I like the cheery pattern, and I love how soft they are. A little pricier than your average but you’re getting what you pay for here. I’ve worn and washed these loads already and they’re still like new.
I really enjoyed just nosing out the window, watching London come to life in the morning. It wasn’t noisy in the room at all though. Very impressive.
Here’s a close up of the print on the Pyjamas. I like the contrasting piping on the edges If you have something like this on your wish list for Christmas, take a look at the website here. Uk Lingerie has some really lovely designs. There are nightdresses and robes plus they have some great high-end swimwear too. Plus their shape-wear is worth a look too.
I did have a nose around my floor of the hotel but it was a little dark. A really lovely place. You will have to take look around here at the hotel here if you wish.
Once downstairs for breakfast, it was all laid out beautifully. I was very impressed with the service. They catered perfectly for my allergies. That made me very happy.
I did feel very spoilt that whole 24 hrs! I didn’t want it to end and leave! Have you stayed in many London hotels? If so, which would you recommend? I think our relaxation time nowadays is so limited it’s important we do it in style!
