That best friend pair of shoes you keep to hand? You know, I’m just popping to the shops or I’m going to be on my feet all day? Do you have that favourite pair? The pair that won’t let you down?
My Vionic flipflops were by the front door the whole of July, Too hot for anything else on my feet and boy did I work those flipflops hard! Right from the month of June and I’m still wearing them on and off now.
The weather’s a lot cooler now and it’s time to have a new pair of shoes that act like slippers on your feet to hand. Vionic Uk has just released their new collection and I was asked to road test the new Caroll Classic Ballett pump. A huge convert to the Vionic brand, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on these!

The leather that these pumps are made of is so soft, just like Ballett Slippers. I was just going to ask if any of you did Ballett as a child? And then thought to myself that some of you could still be doing Ballett! Are you? Or did you?
I did Ballett for a short time. I think I was more interested in the dressing up part! I know it was short lived! I remember those Ballett shoes so well though, plus of course the Tutu!

I’ve chosen the Caroll in Pink to wear till the last drop of summer
Roadtesting the pumps for the first time, I decided to walk all the way to my local high street. I know there’s a lovely ice cream parlour at the end for a treat. The pumps feel like slippers on, so pliable and cushioned. The Vionic Caroll is available in two other colours, I also like the Pewter shade. I’m thinking of Pinks and Greys for a big part of my AW18 wardrobe. Plus of course, there’s classic go with anything Black.
I’m so pleased with this bargain dress too. A mere £15.00 from Primark it’s perfect to wear with these Caroll pumps. It won’t be long now before it’s time to swap our summer wardrobe for Autumn/winter. My boots from Vionic are still like new. They are the reason I got so hooked on this brand! I love dressing all cosy in winter and I feel fashion is so much more glamorous at that time of year or is it just me? I hate the dark nights though!

These shoes look lovely, I love the neutral colour too. They go perfectly with that beautiful dress. I’ve always been afraid of this style of shoe though, fearing dropped arches! Perhaps I will try out this brand for comfort. #TriumphantTales
They’re very pretty, Laurie! Love the colour. Although when it comes to ballet pumps, I’ve already been converted to Calla Shoes (because of my bunions). I will check out Vionic though – they sound like a fab brand!
