OOTD – Sharing Seven Outfits I Wore Last Week

ootd

I thought it would make a change to share with you my ootd – (outfit of the day). I want to share with you how I mix and match my favourite brands throughout the week and show I’m just a casual girl like the majority of women, and not dressed up seven days a week. That’s not to say I don’t like dressing up though!

Some of the items are no longer in stock, but I’ve found the next best thing if something catches your eye. Let me know your favourite outfit here and if you like this sort of post. I might make it a regular thing!

OOTD Saturday

grey, for what was a very grey day! I got lucky catching this shot on was to catch a bus to meet AnnMarie of Mutton Years Style. A look at the shops in Oxford Street and a cuppa in Selfridges was lovely. It rained the whole day after taking this shot though!

OOTD Sunday

ootd seven outfits I wore last week

On way to meet friends for breakfast here. After a very late night partying! I love lazy Sundays having a chilled chin wag with friends. Comfort was in order for the day, and when I got home I was straight into my PJ’s

A lot of the outfit here is not available now. I love this East Uk dress and it pairs perfectly with my Vionic boots (super comfy) The bag from Accessorize I bought in the sale after Christmas, and my cosy long cardigan is from Woolovers

OOTD Monday

ootd tuesday

My biggest accessory here seems to be the big white car! And I must remember to smile! I forgot how hard it is to take photos via remote!

I’m just off out to the local supermarket, other than that the day was spent indoors working on the PC. These Betty Bootcut Jeans are my most worn of all my jeans. I’ve just looked online and they’re at a remarkable £12.00 at the moment. I might just have to buy some more! I like the fact that they do different leg lengths.

My East Uk jacket smartens up the plain T-shirt immediately. It’s super warm  believe it or not because it’s quilted. I’ve had this a couple of years now and wear it often. Finished the outfit with the Vionic boots and not forgetting my supermarket shopper!

OOTD Tuesday

I didn’t venture far to take this shot. just outside my back door. I knew it was going to rain and was just about to go on route to the city to see 42nd Street at the Drury Lane Theater compliments of Hawe’s and Curtis. There will be a post coming up about this ladies and there will be a special offer code for you too.

If you catch my Instagram stories, you will have seen the outfit and the fun night I had. It really was a good show. I wore my Hawes Curtis shirt to support the brand of course! And I thought it went very well with the new addition to my wardrobe, this Lilac coat. You can catch the post about that here if you would like to see it worn more casually.

OOTD Wednesday

This has to be my most worn outfit of aw18. It’s cosy, warm and so easy to wear. I have loved this coat and it mixed so well with literally anything in my wardrobe.

OOTD Thursday

bonmarche

Out doing photos for this Bonmarche outfit on a fairly bright morning. ( You can catch the post here) I stayed in this all day but added a rollneck jumper for extra warmth. I’m in love with this jacket! You will be seeing this a lot!

OOTD Thursday

This rollneck sweater was a Christmas present and I’ve worn this so much through our cold spell of weather. I wear a vest top underneath and it’s super warm like that. It actually started to look like spring at the end of the week and it’s so lovely that it’s just that little bit brighter.

I’m playing with the frayed hem jean here. I just cut the bottom off this pair and let them do there own thing!

OOTD Friday

I nearly didn’t have an ootd for Friday! I bought these trousers in the H&M sale after Christmas and this is the first time I wore them. You know when you have an outfit idea in your head? And then it works out all wrong!

These trousers are going straight to the charity shop! They are a terrible fit on me, and I should have sized down here! oops. I like the idea, just not the fit.

Don’t forget to let me know which is your favourite!

Xo Laurie

Very different outfits Laurie. An excellent mix. Funnily enough my favourite is Thursday. A great casual look in a chunky jumper. Yes it poured with rain didn’t it. Lucky you got the pic when you did. See you soon for a follow up i hope.

What a super feature Laurie. I have a favourite – the one you wore to the theatre is so pretty and that shirt, well I covet that my dear! It’s good to mix things up and the blog and showing this everyday aspect of your life keeps things real doesn’t it. Great idea, well done!

    Have a fab weekend!

You look stunning in every outfit, Laurie! But I can see the last pair of trousers aren’t the right fit – such a shame though! It seems you have a very busy life – always out on the go and always looking incredible. I must say, I love the East clothes and that shirt by Hawes Curtis is fab! The chunky knit jumper is too. Oh… I just love everything about every outfit lol!!
