Eastex – Classic Style

It’s amazing how the weather and temperature can drop in just a few short days…..

Compared to my last post here when it was a hot 32 degrees, it’s now at a low and drizzly 14. I’m clinging on to my brighter semi-summer clothes though, and not ready to do the wardrobe swap into full blown winter wear yet.
Today I’m sharing with you one of my favourite brands. Eastex  You may have read the post about the Press event AW/16  that I went to a while back.

One of my favourite items at the event was this Navy and White graduated spot blouse which has now gone on sale, Easy and light to wear, and  worn loose for comfort. And for a more casual look I will wear this with my white jeans.

I’ve chosen Navy Eastex trousers here Flat fronted with a side zip, which is great for achieving a slimmer tummy plus the trousers come in standard or shorter length which is a bonus  for us Petites

I’ve gone all out classic today with accessories, adding Nude courts and Nude handbag. Two items that are a must-have for your wardrobe . I felt that today wasn’t the right weather for White accessories, and I don’t have Navy, so When I don’t have anything matching Nude is the colour to go for.

Do take a look at the Eastex website. I read an interesting and inspiring article about the fabulous mature model Pia Gronning here Plus there’s lot’s of style inspiration and even a list of great places to go in London.

Please don’t forget to look out for my next post later in the week about all the new and latest trends hitting the shops. Or you could subscribe to my post’s and then you won’t miss any. I would love that. Xo Laurie

I do like that top and if I'm honest this isn't a brand I'd think of looking at, just goes to show hey? Thanks for sharing with #PoCoLo

It's turned a bit cooler here this week also. I love the outfit, very good for the weather. Not cool enough for a jacket, but not warm enough to go without sleeves, in the morning especially. I really like the pattern of the top it really creates interest and catches my eye.

Lovely classic outfit, Laurie. I love the graduated blouse and navy is always a go to for trousers or a skirt. These nude accessories give it a very polished look. I could see a pop of color with a scarf in any bold color such as magenta, red, orange or even an emerald green. Very pretty look. – Amy

I find even petite trousers are usually too long for me. The down side of being a real shortie

Oh that's not good Molly. I bet it cost's a fortune in alterations. Have you tried Precis Petite? Or have you tried petite cropped trousers ? I find normal Cropped trousers can be good for me . Thanks for stopping by xx

Laurie, I love the blouse and adding the nude accessories really brings this outfit together … I already took the plunge and sent my winter clothes to the cleaners so they are ready when I need them. Like you, our weather can turn on a dime and I always like to be prepared xo

Gorgeous outfit. I love the top. Yes, that's another reason I don't like fall. It gets cold too quickly. One minute its hot, and the next minute it's winter.

Beautiful blouse, very chic. I don't bother packing summer clothes away completely because our weather is so changeable. I only pack holiday clothes away. I don't feel like I've got enough wear out of my summer clothes yet anyway, so I'll make the most of the mild weather for as long as possible!

That's a fabulous look, Laurie! I REALLY love the blouse. It looks perfect with the dark trousers, but I can see it paired with so many other pieces, like the white jeans you mentioned. And the nude accessories go very nicely with the outfit. I have nude shoes, but not a nude purse. May have to change that…

Hi Laurie, I love the print on you blouse, very stylish! Those heels and bag are so lovely and I could use a pair of nude block heels as a staple. I know what you mean about the weather, here it is warm, not quite fall yet.. I need to be patient. I checkd out the Site, and I love the pine green floral dress.
