Do you remember earlier in the year when I told you about Hope Fashion ?
Today I’m styling a couple more of Hope’s pieces. A black and white geometric scarf and their already famous Foundation trousers in Black.
If you missed the post from earlier in the year you can find it here And believe me, I have literally lived in that poncho! It’s such a cosy piece of kit! Going out through the summer, I would drape that poncho over my bag, and when the temperature dropped I’d just pop it on. So light yet so warm. I love it. Now it’s coming out to play over roll necked jumpers, perfect for hitting the shops.
This new addition from Hope Fashion is just as super soft as that poncho. And it’s listed as a scarf but I would call it more of a wrap. It’s plenty big enough to drape and style in so many ways. Perfect for that few minutes blast of cold air before you get to your destination.
It’s been a while since I have worn Black and white together. There’s something so classic about this colour pairing. One that will never date, and of course, this could be worn vice versa . A Black polo neck and White jeans maybe. But on the other hand you can pair most colours with Black and White can’t you? Or a Red dress. Yes this would look great thrown over that.
Getting on to the trousers… Well I can’t tell you how impressed I am with these ! When I viewed the hope collection earlier in the year, I was really impressed with their Narrow Stretch Trousers A heavier material than these one’s I’m wearing today and more fitted. Sort of between a legging and a trouser.
I have chosen the Foundation Trouser because I really needed a smart comfortable pair of trousers. And boy these don’t disappoint ! A lighter fabric than the stretch trousers, these feel quite silky. There are no zips, an elasticated waist that fits perfectly so there is no puckering. A faux seam down the front just makes them super smart for me, and there is plenty of stretch to the material which is 32% Lycra.
Can I just say that they are described as an ankle grazer length trouser. A little longer than that for me , as always! Bear in mind that I’m only 5’2 and I’ve decided on this length so that I can wear then with heels for an evening out. But Hope do offer a free alteration service to acquire the perfect length. I think this is a fabulous bonus. Plus the trousers come in three different leg lengths anyway, so good for you tall ladies out there! The sizing also ranges from 8-20
Please do take a look at the Hope brand. You may have already purchased from them before? I hadn’t heard of them until earlier this year, but now if you mention their name, it seems like everyone knows it. And to me this say’s it all, what a good company they are ,doing the right thing with every woman, at any age and pretty much every size. That’s why.

What a gorgeous wrap! I love the pattern and color. I wear a lot of black, paired with jackets or denim, this would be the perfect accompaniment for me! I always get cold when I'm out, so I like to carry a wrap to cover my legs or shoulders, and they are great if the weather turns and it begins to rain. No one likes a damp hair do, especially not me. I had to go check out the poncho, I really love that too, and that the Hope line offers so many sizes and lengths, what a great company.

Black and white, yes a classic, but such a great look on you. The wrap looks super cosy as you say and probably fits into a bag as an in-case layer too.
