Alex Jones collection with Cotton Traders. Spring fashion edit

Celebrity Alex Jones, from the BBC’s One Show, has created an interesting fashion edit with Cotton Traders. I’m a huge fan of Cotton Traders, so I was very pleased to try some of the items from the edit that Alex has created.

I’ve chosen three key staple items to add to my wardrobe. A Chambray shirt, a pair of extremely comfortable Jeggings, and a jumper that will work with the two on the chillier days. ( Hopefully not needed much longer) This will take me right into the next winter wardrobe.

Alex Jones chose well. This Cotton Traders Oxford Chambray shirt is a very welcome new addition to my wardrobe. I haven’t had a Chambray shirt for some years, and I didn’t realize what a key item it is. Paired today with cream, but it will also work with so many other items in my wardrobe. White or beige comes to mind, as well as any shade of denim.

The second item is the Oh-so-comfortable Slim-Fit Stretch Pull-On Jeggings. They’re not skinny in style like most jeggings, but there’s a good amount of stretch for movement too. I love the colour and the fact that they don’t look like jeggings at all.

Belt loops, a fly fastening and even a button at the front, pockets, you would never know they were just pull-on jeggings and I know I will be wearing these a lot. The added bonus is that the jeggings are available in three different leg lengths too.

The third item from the Alex Jones Collection is a Super Soft Embellished Jumper. I’ve chosen the cream shade, but it’s also available in a gorgeous maroon shade as well. I love a cream knit with pearls.

The cream colour again, will pair with most items and it will come in handy to slip over anything I’m wearing when I’m out for an evening.

Just like the sun was shining and I was enjoying the warmth, it quickly decided to disappear and that jumper came in so handy. The grown-on neckline is a favourite style of mine. I prefer it over a roll-neck. Raglan sleeves also give the jumper a relaxed look.

I’ve paired the look with tan accessories. A new bag from Next that I’m really pleased with, a wooden watch from Jord and my new favourite belt from Holland Cooper. I use mainly tan accessories all the time. They fair all the seasons and just pair with everything.
