I’m excited to tell you about this new brand of anti ageing creams thatI’ve been trying out for you the last month or so.
One serum, one moisturiser – I’m road testing!
Actually, one is a cream and one is a serum. A new brand to me that’s come to light and It arrived full of promises. so I used it for a few weeks until I could tell you if I could see any difference in results.
The two products come from a company called Teoxane and the serum is called RHA serum and the cream is called Advanced filler (I was interested straight away!)
So, let’s talk about the serum first. The most important part, of course, the Hylaronic acid. Anything containing this will plump out those lines for you, giving your skin that burst of moisture that skin lacks as you age.Teoxane has their own patented formula for this super serum stating that after ten years of research they have invented a serum that forms a mesh like a second skin to maintain and preserve the moisture the serum provides.I found their “why is my skin losing its glow?” page very interesting. One pump of the RHA Serum was all that was needed each time, and that covered my neck too.I have used this morning and night time for best results. The serum smells quite floral, is non-greasy and sinks in without any massage. In fact, it’s all sunk in by the time I get to apply it to my neck. My skin just soaks it straight up! this has amazed me this little pump action serum in a bottle!
Moving onto the moisturiser. Again I used this morning and night. I felt I needed more than one pump of the cream to feel like I had covered my skin enough to feel moisturised. I did request the Normal/combination for my skin type and I wished that I had chosen for dry skin instead. This cream works in a similar way to the serum. Plumping your skin with its Hylaronic goodness. It’s actually especially formulated to be used after fillers that have been injected to help prolong the filler and last longer. So if you have fillers on a regular basis this would be beneficial to you for sure.
My results/thoughts
I absolutely love the serum! I have found it really effective and it feels like silk on. The moisturiser I also like, but I think I should have tried it for dry skin. I also don’t like the fact that it doesn’t have any SPF A very important factor. I did use some normal SPF over the top of this cream if I knew I was going out, especially due to the fact that it’s summer and protection is needed more.
Don’t think I’m dissing the cream though. Anyone in the beauty industry will tell you that in order for a good cream to work, SPF is normally not added to an anti-ageing cream and you just have to use another on top. That’s why Teoxane has one to purchase with their creams. It just wasn’t provided to me. You can see all the creams available from the Teoxane range here
I can certainly see a difference in my skins appearance and the lines are more plumped out. it’s brighter too and I can certainly see good results for a 54 yr old skin, I need all the help I can get!
Do take a look at the website, especially the Ageing process and solutions page. The brand has many awards for its skincare and I for one would recommend it for sure.

I’m on the look out for a really effective eye serum. Interesting to hear your views on these products. I didn’t know about why SPF is not in anti aging.

What I meant Anna, is that anti-ageing creams sometimes don’t contain SPF because some brands think it makes the skin cream less productive. SPF is THE most important thing to guard against anti-ageing xx
