Hi everyone!
Today I’m taking part in a new challenge with four other bloggers. Each month one of us bloggers will be setting a new challenge for each other.
Today’s theme is set by Gail of Is this Mutton, who actually came up with the idea of this challenge for us all.
“Something old something new something borrowed something blue”
I will show you my interpretation first and then how the other bloggers have dealt with the idea. It’s been fun chatting with the girls on-line and it’s good for us all to be on each other’s posts. I follow each blogger listed here and I urge you to check them all out.
Here’s my version!
I’m wearing my second Hawes And Curtis shirt as my new item. I am loving the bright bold prints that Hawes And Curtis provide. If you missed the last post showing a gorgeous pink one, you can find it here
I’m absolutely loving the colour of this shirt. Baby blue with hints of lemon and green and splashes of white. I chose to wear my favourite flared cream trousers. This is the old part of my challenge. I can’t tell you how many times these have been worn. Flared trousers are by far my favourite style. Being petite, they definitely make my legs look longer.
I’ve borrowed two items for this post. A rummage around in the mother’s wardrobe, we came across this Grey leather clutch bag from the 70’s!
Navy blue sandals to finish the look. Yes! I said sandals! Here’s to keeping them on instead of being stuck in boots!
I forgot to add that I also borrowed a bangle from the mother too. I will cherish these items, and I know that she’s pleased that they are getting made put to use again. I can’t believe she still has stuff stored away from the seventies!
I’d like to know what you think of the shirt? Hawes and Curtis are famed for women’s and men’s shirts for work, but they are so different in their designs. Dress them up or down with jeans, check them out!

Let’s take a look at the other blogger’s choices
Meet Gail from “Is this mutton?” It was Gail’s idea to bring us bloggers together for this challenge. Gail and I have been blogger friends for a while now. Not just a fashion blogger, Gail is very knowledgeable in the beauty department too.
I love the pattern mix that Gail is wearing here. I want those trousers! Blue’s are one of my favourite colours that I’m collecting this year too.

Meet Anna from “Anna’s Island Style” I have been following Anna for a long time. I always admire her style that is so much more cooler and colourful than mine. I also love the scenic photos of where Anna is from. Take a look at what Anna chose to wear for the challenge here
Meet Ashley from “Lazy Daisy Jones” I’ve fast become a fan of Ashley’s blog. Not just for fashion, but her gorgeous interior ideas too. I love this rock chic look! Take a look at what Ashley is wearing for this challenge here
Meet Jacqui from “Mumma B Stylish” We have become firm friends in the past year and share a very similar taste in fashion. I always love an elegant and well-polished look.

Laurie you always look so beautifully turned out, understated is what I also said, but most importantly you never look as if you're trying too hard.
