Did your January fly by as quick as mine? Running through what my January was like in my head and I’m like really? did all that happen? Christmas seems forever ago to me already.
I’m sharing here some titbits of my past four weeks with you. One thing I am keeping my eye on is the days gradually getting lighter, I swear I suffer from S.A.D! but having said that I was so busy I didn’t get time to get too blue.
OOTD
Outfit of the day was the last thing on my mind through January. Everything was packed away while decorating was going on. Having said that I did come across a few items that I’d forgotten about like the Camel skirt above. I won the skirt on a Re-tweet competition from Wallis four years ago!
I’ve enjoyed wearing my new boots though from this post and find they go with everything and good for walking in. I’m just heading to the park here with the grandchildren.
A weekend in Essex to visit family and the threat of snow I managed to dig out my old warm faithful. I’ve had this faux fur jacket a good few years now.
The bag is new from Mango. After sifting out what I was going to keep and what was going to be either sold or sent to charity, I realised that I had only one Black bag. So I have purchased two and I love this one. Perfect for day or night.
She is #Loved
I have recently been gifted this gorgeous heart necklace and earrings from Pandora. There is a new collection launched just in time for valentines day and it’s beautiful. I love this little heart with cubic zirconia, but there is so much more to see.
I love the rings, and the necklaces stacked together look really impressive. There’s a great competition on the Pandora site for a Galentine’s night out, so it’s worth popping over for a look.
Help a friend
Some of you I know have already helped my good friend Ashley who’s Instagram account was hacked over the Christmas period. All her hard work of 18k followers was hacked and lost. I couldn’t bare the thought of losing my little 4k let alone 18! Plus there was another account lost just last week of 52k!!! Instagram has done nothing to help either of these accounts either.

Women who have challenged perceptions of how older women should live their life, overcome adversity or found a new hobby or even made a big life change that has led to their happiness.

Interiors – The finishing touches
As I said earlier, this month has flown by for me. Decorating two rooms plus a couple of hotel stays Here and Here. I didn’t realise just how much time and effort getting that decorating done would take. Trying to keep this little blog afloat, it literally just flew by.
I did get lucky finding these table lamps at Laura Ashley on my travels. I was actually looking for a ceiling pendant light but as soon as I saw these it was love and I just had to buy! At such a bargain price too.
My room, the dressing/office/guest room (yes I’ve had to fit all that in!) is nearly finished and I will be sharing that with you soon.
I fell in love with a new scent
Something else I found stashed away in my room during the clear-out was this Caudalie Desvignes hair and body oil. I actually received this from Caudalie last summer but as I was staying at mums, I obviously put it away and forgot about it (my bad!)I spritzed a little on my hand and my oh my what a gorgeous smell! I wish you could smell it! I find it hard to find perfumes that agree with me because I’m so sensitive. But this works for me and I love it. Made from all natural ingredients, It’s a keeper for me, plus the oil itself is very moisturising without being greasy at all
Back on film
As you know that after being so busy last year I had to put my Youtube channel on hold for a bit. I’m back now with my weekly vlogs. I find this a new challenging learning curve that I enjoy.
