BARGAIN OF THE WEEK

Hi Everyone
Well that time has definitely arrived, time to get the winter woollies out! Have you been watching the rugby world cup? I live just around the corner to the stadium, and let me tell you it’s been absolute chaos when there is a match on, imagine an extra 82,000 people invading your town, that may give you an idea!

I did go and ask the UK team what happened though! No reply!

The winter wardrobe is well and truly unpacked now, with the odd summer top still hanging in there. I buy these long sleeve tops from Primark, I have so many colours, they are great under jackets, under sleeveless dresses and will go nicely under some summer tops, so you get a little extra wear out of them. Even under an unbuttoned shirt. You can add more interesting colour, at £4.00 a pop you cant go wrong.

This bag is old too, I have just added a leather tassel accessory to it to bring it a little more up to date

Comfy suede boots form next. I bought these in the sale late last year, so they still have a lot of wear in them, find similar HERE

Searching on line this week, I did find a really really good bargain……

In black or cream, I have ordered myself a black one, an on trend staple at the mo. Wear with a dress, jeans or trousers

Tempted to buy in cream too, I would wear this with a black shirt or polo and black trousers. Drum roll for the price………. A whole £12.00 !!! HERE

Have you found any fab bargains out there? do share…. Till next week
Xo Laurie

Thankyou for visiting me from Turning Heads Tuesday.I love your touch of bright over the layers and your suede boots are stunners. I am not a rugby fan but as an Australian it has been hard to miss the TV coverage.

Laurie, I switched my wardrobes this weekend. I pulled out all the winter skirts and blouses and stored away the summer ones. Granted it's still pretty warm over here in Hong Kong, but it's fun to embrace the new season even if not because of temperature. I did hold off on the sweaters–haven't converted those yet or the coats either. That will take some time…

Laurie, the other thing I'm doing this week is taking my old black blazer and chopping off the sleeves so as to make a black blazer vest–similar to the bargain you found. I did this to my white blazer over a year ago, and I wear it so much more. Since I recently replaced my ratty old blazer–but am not ready to completely give it away, I thought I'd see if I could extend its life just a bit. I'll let you know how it goes. Get the white one too–you won't regret it!

Love the look with addition of the teal top adding more color. The boots look great, I have been on the hunt for suede You look lovely. I am all about the bargain! I try and find deals and do a fair amount of shopping on Poshmark, a site where I can get gently used or new items, and scored an Anthropologie teal vegan jacket for 48, when originally $200 🙂 Love the long vest, a great trend and price!

I love how you added the tassel to bring your bag up to date and I love your pretty pink top. The long vest is amazing. I own one and I wear the heck out of it, :))).

We've been watching and were very disappointed in the results, although Wales did get out of the group stages. Lovely outfit and some very creative layering. So important when you're not sure what the weather will do!

I have bought so many of these tops in so many colours. Great for layering, even under sleeveless dresses. Cant wait for rugby to finish now!
