Blogger mail, reveals, and unboxing on Youtube is a huge trend with the younger generation. My six-year-old grandson delights in watching children of his age unwrapping toys or opening ???And the younger 20/30-year-old blogging/vlogging generation seem to do this on a regular basis
I don’t have huge amounts of blogger mail flying through the letterbox, but when I did receive a few items over the past month the more I got to thinking if the youngsters can do it so can I!!
A couple of items here and there that don’t really warrant a whole written blog post but items that I feel are worthy of a mention are here listed below and I did film my own blogger unboxing/mail.
I’m wondering if my readers/watchers like this idea? I know I like to watch my friends on Instagram stories showing off their new items. But then again I’m very nosey!
Here’s my little haul of items that I’ve received…
Look good feel better makeup brush set.
we can never have enough makeup brushes, can we? But after reading the box these brushes actually have a really good purpose alongside their brand.

Caudalie – My new skincare love
This brand is growing on me fast! You may have seen my last post about the brand and these two items were a welcome surprise. I have used them since unwrapping and they are fantastic.
I much prefer a foaming cleanser over cream or milky ones and the exfoliator is absolutely amazing! If you’re looking for a good scrubbing facial exfoliator then this is the one for you! The regular exfoliator that I used for years has now been discontinued and this one fits the bill very nicely.
The cleanser is a watery base that foams as you pump and then froths up when applied and massaged to your damp face. Very impressed! I now have nearly all I need to complete a facial with the Caudalie brand. I will be videoing a film for that too soon.
Leighton Denny Polish And Base/Top Coat
If you caught my Instagram stories (You can find me here) You may have seen me applying this over my regular nail colour. A subtle sparkle that adds a great shine, and the base coat I haven’t tried before. So I put it to the test and I’m pleased to say it’s bearing up very well. I’m a huge fan of Leighton Denny nail varnishes, they always stand the test of time with my busy hands.
I will be sharing my thoughts on the polish and base/top coat later today on my stories to share how it’s stood up to my daily grind!
Two new hairbrushes in my blogger mail. Both from Wet Brush Pro. I haven’t tried the extra large round Blowout brush yet. This will be fantastic for a smooth and bouncy finish on my long hair. The Carbon ionic infused barrel will provide superior thermal styling apparently.
The Pink de – Tangler brush I have used. I normally just let my hair dry off and then add the dryer to my mop but I have started to use this. I start bottom to top for no-tangle and this new brush just glides on through. If you have porous or brittle hair, this little beauty is for you.
4711 Original Eau De Cologne
Who remembers this?!! I was so happy to receive this gorgeous smelling scent. I used to use this many years ago! I love the citrus smell of this and it gives me a feeling of home? comfort? relaxed? I’m not sure how to describe it!
My nan used to douse herself in this and it really brings back fond memories. Did you know this 4711 cologne has been going since 1792!!

Used by men as well as women apparently. 4711 by Muelhens is a refined, fruity fragrance. It possesses a blend of citrus oils lemon & orange, light floral rose, and sandalwood oil. All I know is that it’s a pleasure to have in my possession and I will be taking this on my holiday. Counting down the days my friends!
Urban Veda
Last part of my blogger mail contained this little set of body lotion and facial cream from Urban Veda. The cream is good for pore minimising and oily skin. My skin isn’t oily, but I do have the dreaded large pores on the nose problem, so will be applying it there. I haven’t used it as of yet because I’m trialling some new creams to report about to my dear readers.
Looking at the Urban Vedas web page I can see it’s very popular though. They have five major beauty awards under their belt.

My daughter loves watching toy opening videos too! Sometimes she catches me watching bloggers opening packages and likes to have a nosy to see what they’ve got. Whenever I get a package she always wants to open it for me. It won’t be long before she has her own YouTube channel I think!I love the unicorn mug – I’ve got a fox and a flamingo mug but I don’t use them – they’re too nice!

I left my thoughts on my Instagram stories Marianne. The varnish with the top/base coat lasted a good five days. That’s with me typing all the time and all the everyday stuff like the housework, and I’m allergic to rubber gloves! I’m impressed xx
