THE EASY TO WEAR ANYWHERE DRESS

Hi Everyone
Well winter is truly upon us now, it’s so wet and cold here in London now. I was putting off this post to go and take some pictures in a nicer location but the weather is just not allowing it!

Anyway, just before Christmas I was having a little trying on session in TK Max I tried this dress on and loved it but put it aside (wasnt supposed to be shopping for me!)……

Un-be-known to me the other half bought it for me for Christmas (I was Impressed! notice was taken!)
The brand name is Beige by Eci. Not one that I have heard of before but will definitely be looking up in the future. It is so easy to wear, silky, non crease, straight cut so no nipped in waist and great for when your feeling a bit heavy. It’s really slimming on. I have paired it with a cardigan that I bought a few years ago from Mango

The dress is a mixture of polyester and spandex, I guess that’s why it doesn’t crease. This will be great for throwing in a suitcase on my travels to Essex. If you were to be sitting in a car or at an office desk all day I don’t think this dress will crease at all. Bonus!

I paired the dress with my new boots from FandF which are now at a bargain price of £17.00 very comfy and not too high and they have an elasticated zip for comfort, perfect for shopping day’s for me….
I think this dress will look great dressed up when the weather gets warmer. I’m thinking gold accessories? What would you dress it up with? Please do tell….

XO Laurie

Looks amazing on you and I love it with the boots. If I were dressing it up I would add some chunky pearls and nude heels. So fun to receive it as an unexpected surprise!

I absolutely love that dress! As usual, you look fabulous, Laurie! That was awfully good of the better half to take notice and go back to get it! You lucked out with him and with the dress still being available…double score.

Thank you Regina. This is why it's worthwhile to drag our other halves round the shops sometimes!

Well that is a really sweet story behind this dress! And it looks fabulous on you. I agree with gold accessories. Because of the white in the dress, pearls might also look nice. How you've styled it here is perfect too. I love how easy it is since the dress speaks on its own.

That's a stunning print and so so flattering on you. And slightly unusual sleeves too which I really like. Those boots look very cool with the dress. Um… as to accessories – yes gold would look gorgeous but I think some colour would too. Something rich and deep like burgundy or maroon, even navy. Dark enough to work as a counterpoint to the camel yet still be able to stand out.

Some good pointers there! The sleeves are greaat, being petite like you, the length is perfect.

Love the camel wrap with this dress. You did a great job styling, The boots are fab, tool me forever to find taupe boots this year. Love the thicker sole.

This dress speaks for itself and you did a fantastic job of styling it. In my opinion, it doesn't need or require any accessories to dress it up.
