Lotus Boots And Bag Road Tested On The Thames !

How do you show off your new winter style when it’s one of the hottest September days on record ?

I was kindly offered something from Lotus Shoes, and with spicing up my Autumn wardrobe in mind I chose this gorgeous pair of Boots and Bag
When I received the boots and bag I was overjoyed with them….. Now how do you style the boots in 32 degrees ?

Our friends had invited us to the marina where they have a barge that they use in the summer and have just purchased a riverboat to cruise the river on. I decided to take this opportunity to show them off.

The holiday barge is to the left and the riverboat to the right. It was the perfect day to be on the river.

I’m over the moon with the bag, it’s very roomy and has several pockets to keep everything organised. I love the Snake print and I know I will be using this bag a lot injecting some colour into the winter wardrobe.

The swans and ducks are so tame, they will eat straight out of your hand

The river was so calm, not what I expected. Just a light breeze, it was such a perfect day watching London go by.

You see all different variations of boats going slowly past, it’s just beautiful.

I did originally have black trousers or jeans in mind to wear with the boots and bag, but it was just so hot !

The boots have fab detailing on them to match the bag. A wedge shape heel makes a change from my usual high heels. Although the wedge looks high, these are so comfortable to wear and I know I could comfortably walk far distances in these. I nearly chose the other colour here

I would love to live along the riveside. AS we glide through I can’t help but wonder who lives in houses like these.

All is so calm, it really is so relaxing.

Back onto dry land, I’m pleased with how the boots felt on their first outing, even in such hot weather! The winter wardrobe is nearly complete now and I look forward to sharing it with you. Almost makes me wish for colder weather !You will be seeing a lot of this boots and bag in the future. Take a look at Lotus shoes and let me know what your favourites are.

Xo Laurie

Laurie, I love the unique color combo for your boots and bag. I totally understand your weather troubles because it's still warm were I live, too. Great idea to take photos near the water. Thanks for adding your post to my Fine-Whatever link up.

What a great outfit, and what a fun place to wear it. Looks like a great afternoon. I really love the unique pattern on the boots and purse, they are so interesting and eye catching, I love that in a great accessory. And I am partial to wedge heels, they are so much easier on my legs and they look great. Red is such a great color on you!

Ha ha! Jo, if I'm on a day out, I like to dress up. If I'm just doing an outfit post, I usually get all dressed up, do the photos and then go home and get into my slobs! xx

Looks like such a fun day. I always wonder who lives in houses like that too! No one I know! Love your red outfit.

    • October 2, 2016 / 1:05 pm

Rich people Amy! These houses must cost a fortune in London. I live in a shoebox flat that retails at £450.00 so I dread to think how much these houses are worth! X

Thanks for linking up to Top of the World Style. Great outfit and great photos. The swans and the booties are so cute. I didn't know that the Thames is so romantic with respect to its scenery. I must always have been at the wrong place. LOL.

I am really digging this transitional outfit and the scenery is a perfect back drop! The booties are on point as well. #PersonalStyleLinkup
