Here is as promised the first of my AW17 series.
I had a super day with the Phase Eight team and learned a couple of important things that I wasn’t aware of about this fabulous brand. I have been eyeing up their sales at the moment take a look here and there are loads of bargains available that are wearable to lead you into the AW phase.
I had a fantastic photo shoot with some other blogger friends a while back for The Daily Mail and this is yet to be published, but one of the items that I chose to wear on the shoot was a gorgeous Velvet Burn Out top. see here I absolutely fell in love with it and as soon as it goes to press, I will share all the photos with you.
Anyway, let’s get back to the event…
This gorgeous coat caught my eye straight away! I love the texture. And how cosy does it look?
I love the warm colour of this faux fur. Great for those evenings out or casual with your jeans. So lux!
Colourful prints and embellishment were largely featured, and Phase Eight are spot on with the cut and shapes of the jumpsuits they have available. A strong contender for this seasons statement dressing. How gorgeous is the Red one above?

I love the Suede, leather and Gold wrist wrap. That’s gone straight on my shopping list!

Florals were a key focus throughout the winter collection and a lot of the items had some really great extra special detailing added. It all looked bright and not winter weary drab.
Pleats, as I have discussed with you before, are still a strong contender for winter. This Alania evening dress is made super special with this Pink feature running through it.
I was in evening heaven browsing through this lot of Silver and Grey/Gunmetal hues. Soft luxurious fabrics, especially the soft velvets and the Sequins. I especially loved the the changing velvet textured dress. You brush it the other way with your hand and another shade appears. I so wished that I had got a photo of that!
Now, one of the things that I didn’t know about the Phase Eight brand is that they do have an exclusive range of occasion wear. A host of beautifully crafted dresses and really extra special garments for the special event any of you may have coming up. These really are all beautifully finished.I have looked on the Phase Eight website and can’t help thinking that this collection would be great for bridesmaids, Race days or a Prom night.Well worth a look.

Studio Eight
Have you heard of Studio 8 before? I was unaware of Phase Eight’s sister brand! How I haven’t noticed this before I have no idea! But you can count on seeing it featured a lot more on the website from now on. Look here to see their collection.
Studio 8 is a stylish premium brand for the plus sized woman and the sizing goes up to 26. There is no difference in quality, cut or fashion trend here. I was really impressed with the brand and if you’re a plus sized woman that didn’t know about this fabulous site I urge you to go have a look.
This geometric print caught my eye as did how fluid the whole outfit is. An easy to wear flattering style.
Cute floral prints – I’m noticing a lot of Blue/Lavender creeping into collections.
As before with the Phase Eight brand, Velvets and florals featured strong for the eveninng wear.
I loved the print on this top. Perfect to pair with slim trousers or leggings.

I've always loved the cut of this brand but realised that it didn't like me, the brand always seemed to run out of sizes by the time it got to me, size 8 I am not! I had no idea they did bigger sizes. Thanks for the info. I feel some serious research coming on … :-).
