Another super busy week has flown by! Thanks to all that linked up last week, there were some really interesting posts.
This is what I’ve been up to…
A bus ride into London
I hopped on my local bus to get into the city to meet Ashley of Lazy Daisy Jones to go see some press events. We always meet at Selfridges and I snapped a few photos of the dressed windows for Christmas. I’m always excited to see the extravagant window displays on Oxford Street at this time of year.
I’m very lucky to be able to hop on a bus and be in the city within a quarter of an hour, Although it’s getting extremely busy now!
This is what I wore for the day. Easy and comfortable, plus a big bag to hold umbrella and bits and pieces that I may need for a long day out. We went to five events on the day, all scattered around London and I can tell you my feet were absolutely banging on the bus home. I haven’t walked so far in a long time! It was worth it though and a fun day was had. I’m sure I will fill you in on the day via a blog post at some time.
But I have just got myself some sensible medium height heels for these occasions…

I bet being in London this time of the year is just wonderful. I know what you mean about heels hurting when you walk a lot. You just need a comfy pair of Ugg boots; although, they may be too casual for the events you were attending! Happy Holidays!
