Hi Everyone!
Well if ever there was a jam-packed week That’s what mine has been. I’ve had so much going on and to be totally honest I am cream crackered and in much need of a couple of days rest! (chance would be a fine thing!) I have had so much fun since Saturday though, lots of laughter, fun and friendship I will explain
I will start the week in reverse order….
I had such a fun day today meeting up with my partner in crime Ashley to attend a JD Williams event and from there we went on to meet the fabulous Anna from Anna’s Island Style. I have been waiting to meet Anna for such a long time and it was fantastic. We just didn’t have anywhere near enough time to talk! I’m sure this will be continued in another meet up another time. I’m determined to visit her beautiful island!
It was great to catch up with Ashley too, and there will be a post coming up about our day out. We had such a laugh! plus of course, the JD Williams event was fabulous (wait till you see their gorgeous Christmas selection.
Roll back to Saturday night
I had an awful journey to Newcastle late afternoon till around 10 pm We actually drove through the countryside during storm Brian and I was scared! No lights on the road and we hit a flooded part of the road and our car actually took off above it!
Staying with friends that live in the countryside was an absolute joy once the storm subsided and this was the view from the bedroom
This is where I intended to take photos for those gorgeous boots I posted about yesterday, but the weather just wasn’t playing. We had fun trying though and boy could I show you some real bloopers!

Meet Beau!
A new puppy! And she is absolutely gorgeous! I love her already even though I forgot that having a puppy is like having a baby! Up a couple of times, a night at the moment is very tiring!

And that’s not all! There was one other special part to my weekend
I met up with Gail from Is This Mutton and Hilda from Over The Hilda for a photo shoot for The Bias-Cut. Of course, there will also be a follow-on post for this day too, but for me meeting the girls was a delight. Both are lovely ladies and again just not enough time was available.
So. All in all yes I have had a busy few days! Please take a look at the post for the gorgeous boots though. They are specially designed for health reasons, but they are so stylish and comfortable! Catch the post here

Sounds like my week, Laurie! Come to think about it, sounds like my month (lol)! As for your sweet new puppy…in love! Absolutely adorable! The early days are always hard bit so worth it! Enjoy!
