Firstly I want to say a huge thank you to all that joined in last week. It was so lovely to see you all here for the link up.I hope you all looked at each other’s posts and maybe found some new bloggers posts to read, I know I did.

Anyone got any vlogging tips Please?!!

I’ve just posted about a makeup brand and I’ve shot a very short but sort of ok video to show how I applied the makeup. I can’t tell you how many hours it has taken me to film five minutes of video! I really never knew just how hard it was! And then, when I started loading to Youtube it tells me it will take two and a half hours to load! WHAT!

So if anyone out there can give some advice I will be truly grateful. The video is quite funny, you can hear aeroplanes and then I had a fly visit me! You’ve got to laugh huh? Anyway, that will be loaded to that post as soon as I have worked it out. I will leave a link to the post. it’s quite an interesting brand.

    I’d like to get into vlogging but it takes so much time! I did a short video for Insta when I collaborated with Jord and that was hard enough. I only did minimal editing – just a few overlays – but it took longer than I’d anticipated. I’ve got no excuse really working in TV! Having somewhere to film that isn’t littered with toys/shoes/general crap would be a good start!

    I have yet to click on the video but certainly will. As you know myou youtube vids aren’t face on so I can’t offer tips. My vlog is very amateur. You are one brave and inspiring lady. Keep it up Laurie

    Oooh I can’t wait to start watching your videos, Laurie! It is a lot harder than it looks, isn’t it? I have trouble uploading my videos to Youtube too. I usually use Safari on my Mac but find that Google Chrome works better if that helps? It seems to work a little quicker for some reason. Also, it seems to work better when you use this direct link to upload too: http://youtube.com/upload (I don’t know why!).

    Hey girl you crack me up! Ha I am so lost with vlogging and doing youtube period..I get so frozen up on live camera and sound like a total dork…I am kind of frustrated that everyone has to be pushed into this mold as an influencer..video is not comfortable for many..including me. But it seems if you don’t jump on this bandwagon, you will be left behind…ug..lol

    So sorry I am not much help in that dept.I wish it were an easy fix..so much to the editing game etc..

      A good point Valerie. Hence I am not talking on my Vlog! I’m not sure how my American, let alone my English readers will make of my Essex voice!
      I don’t agree with you on the getting left behind bit, however. I think some people prefer to read rather than watch. Bloggings not going to die just yet. xx

      Yes, Tina, I think that will be the best place to start. I have done a couple of clips there, but when it comes to make up or skincare I think it’s nice to talk it through. That’s what I’m aiming for. xx
