I’ve been dying to tell you all about my beauty treatments that I’ve been having at Bodyvie
I was kindly invited to this very reputable (famous people go there!) skin rejuvenation and cosmetic clinic to talk about age concerns that my skin is representing. Bodyvie In Richmond, Surrey literally have treatments for all your skin and body concerns available.
What I will say, is how gorgeous this place is. The staff are so welcoming and tend to your every need. They make you feel special and listen to your every concern.
As you can see the surroundings and ambiance are pure indulgence. Peaceful and relaxing
On my first visit, I was seen by the fabulous doctor Weber to tell him all about The concerns I have about my skin and then I was asked a number of health questions. My list of concerns is quite large! I guess you would expect that from someone in my age bracket! Let’s take a look at my main concerns
- Sagging Jowls
- Even more sagging on the eyelids!
- A hideous spot right in the middle of my nose! (that’s been there for ages!)
After discussing my concerns with Dr. Weber I was offered a real deep, close up look at my skin through an Observe 520 Skin Analysis
This amazing machine will give you a deep analysis of your skin. Any damage or dehydration, pigmentation, literally everything that is posing to be a problem or anything that will become a problem can be detected through this clever machine. You put your head into the little Black tent and within a couple of seconds the picture is taken and the results are there.
This clever machine will tell you all the help you need and what treatments will be best for you.
After having this photo done in the observe 520 skin analyzer we talked about the condition of my skin. One thing that was highlighted was how dehydrated it was, and I’ve been working on that since I had this analysis. We are constantly warned about keeping our water intake up, but how many of us actually do it? I’m a huge Tea drinker, but obviously, this doesn’t count! I have been reminding myself to drink more water, and I can see the difference. I have since had another photo done with the observe 520 (My treatments have been carried out for the last six weeks to date) And it actually shows that I’m not so dehydrated.

Not nice is it?! So now you can see how everything is highlighted from the Observ 520 At least I got to keep my eye make up on!
But seriously, can you see that spot on my nose? And you can see how my skin is losing its elasticity, can’t you? And the broken veins around my nose. I was horrified when I saw this photo! And to share it with you is a brave decision, but I want to show you later how much has improved since my treatment started at Bodyvie, so brave I will be!
After that not so nice photo was taken, the treatments that could help were discussed.
Bodyvie has so many treatments available to fix your concerns. Take a look at the menu of treatments available here I would love to have some Botox or Dermal fillers, especially for my lip lines, but due to my allergies, I’m not prepared to go down that road. But believe me, if I could I would. I’m still using my Slendertone facial machine, and that does help a little with the uplifting. You can read that post about Slendertone here
So after that, not so nice photo was taken, I was given all the suggestions that could remedy these problems that I have.
I decided to try Radio Frequency for my first treatment. You can read all about how it works in that link. It’s very relaxing, a bit like a hot stone treatment for your face. Hot, but bearable hot is how I can best describe it. Each week I have gone into the treatment room and although the treatment only takes half an hour, I have fallen asleep twice!
The aim of the treatment is to migrate the collagen into more of a mass. your collagen weakens and flattens out as you age (hence the lack of firmness) This fantastic machine plumps you up again.
First is a lovely cleanse. I’m relaxed immediately!
The Conductive Gel is applied to catch the frequency. A bit like an ultrasound
Then the Radio Frequency tool is massaged around the jaw line in circular movements. It starts off warm and gets hotter as the session goes on. As hot as you can bear it! The hotter it is the more effective apparently. Like I said before it’s totally relaxing and doesn’t hurt at all. I have to try and stay awake! When I had the first treatment, I thought my face would be really red after, but there were no signs of red at all. It’s all working on the inside!
After the first couple of weeks, I could notice a difference!
I was advised that the treatment in the first stage wouldn’t be so noticeable, but I could certainly see a difference the second time around.
Iv’e been having these treatments for the last seven weeks now, and I will be giving you an update with the results very soon. And I will also be showing you how Bodyvie has erased that nasty spot from my nose too! I have an extra spring in my step as my treatment progresses. I can really see the difference. I’ve had this type of analysis. Scary. I was reassured that they could tell that i exfoliate. I also had my collagen levels measured over a several year period. However I haven’t succumbed to treatments. I did see a dermatologist recently though for a mole check.
